Sports car fans now have a new option for a lightweight road and track car, thanks to startup Jannarelly. The company’s recently revealed Design-1 is now available in the United States as Jannarelly has signed a local importer and plans to start deliveries in November. Crucially, the car is street legal in every state.
Another startup that made headlines this week is Genovation, which is based in Rockville, Maryland. The company is working on an electric Corvette and this week we saw some renderings of the completed design.
China’s Geely this week launched a new brand under the name Lynk & Co. The brand’s first model is a compact SUV that will go on sale in China in 2017 and Europe the following year. To stand out, Lynk & Co is equipping its cars with connectivity features including built-in car sharing.
